It’s Not Laziness. It’s Fear.

T-32 Days to August 7th

Anxiety sucks. It’s debilitating. It turns the simplest tasks into insurmountable behemoths.

When all you need to do is hop, a task you’ve been delaying turns into a leap. The longer you wait to start, the wider and deeper that gap in front of you gets, and before you know it, you’re convinced you’re staring out across an endless canyon.

Starting something new is one of the hardest things we do. If you’ve never tried something before, calling it daunting is like calling the Pacific Ocean pretty big.

That new project you just earned? More money in your account is great, but is it enough to get you to the starting line? To get you to sit down and lay it out, step-by-step?

When you’re given the opportunity to start, whether it’s learning to swim for the first time or it’s a project for a new client, the temptation to stall will be strong. To say you’ll practice tomorrow, or you’ll build a timeline when your schedule clears up later in the week.

There will always be a million reasons not to start. Find the one reason you need to take the first step today.

I promise you: the moment you do, the canyon shrinks to a crack. And the path forward becomes clear.

It’s Not Laziness. It’s Fear.
